Slacker blogger and beginner classes at DMA.

My name is Trinket and I have been a slacker. I started this blog when I started modeling school, partly so I could journal my experiences and also to chronicle the change of my look from non model to model.

Since I last posted I have completed beginner classes and am preparing for the last test of intermediate. In the beginner classes at Dallas Modeling Academy, with Elisabet Lilliehook (Eli), I learned alot about styling and about genres of fashion, particularly formal, casual, urban chic, avant garde and glam cocktail.

This was homework where we were to style both a casual outfit and a formal outfit. The one above is my casual submission and the one below is my formal submission.

Next, we were challenged to style an urban chic outfit. What's Urban Chic, you ask? Look it up, lol, I had to. Its a fashion look crossed between business and casual, with elements of both, like a blazer paired with army pants as I did in my homework for this styling.

Next up, Avante Garde. :) My instructor in particularly liked this one. I saw the hair and it made me think oriental, so I chose and styled the outfit to match the hair. hehe.

For my beginner final, we were assigned to choose and style a cocktail glam outfit. I liked the way this one came out.

I passed and so I went on to intermediate classes with Suki.
